I'm an Estonian photographer living in Portugal.
Contrary to what you might expect, I didn't fall in love with photography when I was a child. (I know... shocking!)
From a young age, I loved making things with my hands. I was good at maths in school, studied IT at university, and life seemed to be taking me in a very different direction. But then..I had kids.
Slowly but surely - one crochet blanket and one knitted sweater at a time - I reconnected with my creative side. That eventually led to Knits & Naps, my handmade knitwear and crochet bag brand.
As a good small business owner, I did everything myself. Including photography. I photographed my products, created lifestyle shoots on the streets, captured colourful knitwear on happy little models... and without really noticing it, photography had quietly become part of my everyday life.
But it still hadn't completely clicked.
That happened after a photography trip to Bali. First I just enjoyed the trip, took lots of photos, realized I want a bigger camera :D And then after I came home everything suddenly made sense. Photography became the place where my analytical mind and my creative heart could finally work together. Once you see the light, you can not unsee it!
Now, that's exactly what I love about photography: it combines observation, emotion, creativity, and just the right amount of technical thinking. And I get to use all of it to tell your story.
I would describe it as - Warm, lifestyle-focused, emotive photography with an editorial feel. Somewhere between documentary storytelling and polished portraiture.
For me, photography isn't just about recording a moment in time, it's about telling a story.
I'm drawn to the emotions, the quiet moments in between, the spontaneous laughter, the beautiful chaos, and the unspoken gestures that often say the most. I love images that feel natural and alive - not perfectly posed, but full of feeling, movement, and connection.
My approach is relaxed and playful. I want the people I photograph to feel comfortable enough to simply be themselves, because that's when the magic happens. The most beautiful photographs aren't created by asking someone to smile - they appear when people forget the camera is there.
That's what I want to give you - a session where you can just be you, and let me take care of the rest.
